The mission of the Center for Research on Health and Sexual Orientation is to understand and improve the health of sexual minority (i.e. gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender) individuals by maintaining an infrastructure that provides research on sexual minority health/wellness needs.

The Pennsylvania/MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center provides custom designed training and technical assistance to support, motivate and educate physicians, nurses, physician assistants, dental professionals, pharmacists, advanced practice nurses, and members of the clinical team to provide quality HIV care.

The mission of the Pennsylvania Prevention Project (PPP) is to contribute to decreasing HIV infection and morbidity and mortality associated with HIV and AIDS through scientifically based interventions.

The Pitt Men's Study is a confidential HIV/AIDS research study that has been ongoing in Pittsburgh for the past 20 years.
